With nearly 20 years in the financial world, Richard brings a wealth of experience to the Tailwinds Academy board. His career spans accounting, financial planning, consulting, and leadership roles where he’s made complex problems look simple.
Richard has worn many hats throughout his career—from CFO and CEO of a thriving multi-site farming operation to interim CFO for a global mining company. He’s led international teams through major transformations and guided businesses through significant mergers and acquisitions.
His talent for turning challenging situations into success stories hasn’t gone unnoticed. Industry experts have recognized his work with multiple Turnaround of the Year awards from the Turnaround Management Association and Deal of the Year honors from the Investment Council. When not crunching numbers or crafting business strategies, Richard applies his practical problem-solving skills to help our organization thrive.
