About Jameel Worthy
Jameel Worthy is a results-driven entrepreneur, investor, and business leader with a proven record of building and scaling organizations across multiple industries. Jameel holds a strong passion for entrepreneurship and diversity in the aviation space, and is Founder of Airworthy Leasebacks, an aviation company leasing Pipistrel and Bristell aircraft.
Mr. Worthy is also the General Manager and founding member of Steadfast Entities, LLC, a heavy equipment rental and staffing organization. Under his guidance, Steadfast has achieved over $4 million in annual sales, demonstrating his strength in strategic planning, team leadership, and operational efficiency.
Before launching his ventures, Mr. Worthy gained extensive experience managing large-scale operations and teams in the industrial sector, including his tenure as Assistant Lead Engineer at Sunoco Oil Refinery and his leadership role at Amquip Crane Rental LLC, one of the nation’s leading crane rental companies. His early engineering experience laid the foundation for his data-driven, safety-conscious approach to leadership and business management.
An alumnus of both Morgan State University and Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, Mr. Worthy is dedicated to continuous learning and mentorship. He believes that a company’s greatest strength lies in its people and that true leadership means creating value—not only for the organization but for the broader community it serves.
